Sunrise and Clouds

Boaters study the sky for weather clues, even when they’re not on board. Here we are, thousands of miles away from Sea Venture, and we not only study the clouds, but we rush to grab the camera when a beautiful sky welcomes us.

I took these pictures early Monday morning.  Storm clouds hovered.

Gorgeous, isn’t it?

    1. Thank you. I love it when I can point a camera and have it do the work. I had to dash upstairs, find the camera, get out on the deck, and almost missed the spectacle. Sunrises don’t wait, do they?

  1. Hi to Normandy and Michael, how are you two fairing, with the boat in San Carlos and you back in the USA, I am in Cartegana Colombia, having the teak decks pulled off of the Genesis, and fiberglass put down, to slow the water trickle into the bilge. They are gerat trademen here, the weather is HOT, over 100 everyday and only cooling to 80 at night. We are on the land, living in an apt supplied by the marina for $20.00 per night. Faye will be joining me mid Oct, hoping to boat out of here by the last week of Oct towards T & T and then north to Florida.Stay in touch,
I find your blog very imformative
