Sea Venture Returns to Mazatlan

Michael reported a rough trip, but the high winds at least made for a fast one. They left Bahia Falsa, outside of La Paz, at 3AM on Saturday and arrived in Mazatlan in the afternoon of Sunday.

One of Michael’s crew, Mark from s/v We Rave On, took this as they were anchored in Bahia Falsa on Friday night.  Incredible sunset, so typical of La Paz.

And here is Sea Venture, once again on Dock 3 at Marina Mazatlan. The marina is emptier than in 2008, which gives them more room to manage dinghy repair.

  1. Happy New Year to you..a bit late.Fabulous shots of La Paz..how long are you staying? Are you, Dede still back in USA or did I misread the blog? I’m up at Scotts Head again for a few weeks but most has already passed. We(sisters) have almost cleaned out the house and removed a ton of stuff no longer needed. It’s good to see the house functioning again in happier times. My nieces and nephew and families came for Xmas (as well as Dany and Laylla and Khaled) and we had a lovely family ceremony in the garden for Mum and Dad. When I get back to Sydney and the right camera cords, i’ll fill you in with a photo of our little family. We were all able to come together this year, albeit for a day, but it was lovely. Loved the photos of Ariana’s wedding..you all looked very happy. Hope you are all well. Love Lis.

    1. Lis,

So good to hear from you. Yes, the wedding was gorgeous. She’s a very happy bride.

I suppose we won’t be sailing into Sydney Harbor after all. A 747 anyone?
