New Writing Blog, Lost Friends

It appears that, when I upgraded Writing on Board from WordPress.com to WordPress.org, I made both blog-post pictures and people vanish into cyberspace. If, by any chance, you were among those following my writing world at https://writingonboard.com, then I’d be grateful if you’d drop by again and hit Subscribe.

I apologize. Really. To you and to my time, which has been frittered away with design woes when it ought to have been spent either writing, editing, or varnishing Sea Venture’s companionway doors.

Sigh.

And thank you for bearing with my Internet woes.

  1. I know what you mean about WordPress.org. I tried that for a while. Everybody is different, of course, but I found the administrative tasks maddening. I just wanted to write! Hosted WordPress has fewer options, of course, but I pay that price happily rather than spend a day doing an upgrade. Wishing you the best.

  2. I moved to a hosted WordPress also, but that put me in dot org mode–which didn’t shift the blog very well at all. I’d thought it would be a simple slide. Nope! And I’m with you. I’ve too many other things I’d like to do.
